Description: This position is the primary person responsible for sales and execution of 15- 20 annual weddings and special events. Position is full-time, year round. Candidates must be available all or most weekends during the “wedding season.” Experience with planning and/or coordinating weddings required. Experience in catering and sales preferred.
The Retreat at Balcones Springs is looking for an experienced Wedding Planner to join our team! We are dedicated to making our guest experience incredible by working hard and delivering flawless events. We are looking for our next superstar who will take the lead with selling the “Weekend Wedding” venue to brides, work with them one on one to plan the event, then coordinate the Ceremony & Reception. Success in this position requires a friendly personality, organization, attention to detail, impeccable follow-through, and experience with administrative tasks.

Excellent with written, phone, and in-person communications
2 Years Experience planning and executing Weddings & Special Events, preferably at a hotel or overnight venue with catering services
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Event Planning preferred, but would also accept a verifiable professional certification or 4 total years of experience in the field
Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
Ability to work Friday– Sunday on weekends primarily in the Fall and Spring
